Why a duck ??
I grew up on Lake Zurich and often sat for hours by the lake, have fed ducks or just watched.
Ducks are one of my favorite animals, you can waddle, swim well, diving and even fly. Can you therefore move freely at many levels.
Ducks can be found around the globe and as a travel Crazy I am always happy when I see somewhere ducks.
Ducks come in a huge number of color options and each duck, no matter how simple, is beautiful when you look at exactly
A duck has rarely happiness in life, I speak of my favorite duck Donald Duck and Scrooge McDuck ...... is a duck which is sometimes to be envied.
About making this coin:
When I knew that I wanted to make a Coin was also clear that there should be an animal, an animal that has a special meaning for me. As I have previously bred seahorses and clownfish came the idea of a Coin with seahorse, clownfish and treasure chest. But the reverse side of the coins did not like me just then and I met a Coin what exactly these elements already united. Immediately, the basic idea was then discarded and my duck seemed to me in the mind's eye.
When I sent the first draft Claudia the duck had no legs, which then had to give way due to the fragility. One is covered by my saddle with cache container, GPS and log was then used to log on the ground. And yet while I studied around to the back of Coins, the brainchild of Claudia came to the closed eye. Now there were only a few things which had to be adjusted. Claudia has not yet drawn a funny walk purely in the puddle / floor and made my 4 stones in the necklace were reasons of space 3 stones. Bingo! This is the Coin!
