About this coin:
Windis regulars' table in Munich celebrates its 10th anniversary and therefore this typical Bavarian Geocoin was launched. On 7.2.2004 - over 10 years ago, the community of cachers from Munich met for the first time. At that time only a few crazy guys met, but nowadays the regulars' table usually exceeds the capacity limit of the restaurants ;-)
One of the famous Munich landmark is the 18.52m statue of the Bavaria at the Theresienwiese. Behind her is impressive Ruhmeshalle. Both buildings were created in a 10-year construction period around 1850 by King Ludwig I of Bavaria. The depicted face on the back of the geocoin shows the more popular King Ludwig II.
